A conversation about Kynect

The podcasting team of Parker Franklin, Mary Bradley and Kelsey Randolph caught up with state Rep. Tom Burch of Louisville during the waning days of the 2016 Kentucky General Assembly to talk about Kynect. Burch long has been a proponent for affordable health care.

Burch shares his thoughts about the progress of House Bill 5 to preserve Kynect, the state’s health insurance program, in light of a campaign promise from Republican Gov. Matt Bevin to dismantle the program and transition the state to the federal health insurance exchanges.
